Business was booming at the annual Suffolk Business Exhibition held at Trinity Park on 1st May. The show was extremely successful, with an increase in visitor numbers from the last show.

Roger Barcham, Chairman of ISSBA commented: “We are delighted with the feedback from this year’s exhibition. Not only has it been the biggest yet, but many exhibitors have said it is the best show they’ve ever been to and extremely pleased with the quality of business contacts they made.”

The Showcase App for the Suffolk Business Exhibition allows you to register and 'claim' your company, which gives you the opportunity to edit your business information and add logos, descriptions and products.

Photographing Slash

Wow!!! As a taster to photographing ZZ Top later this month, I had the excellent opportunity to photograph Slash and his band two weeks ago at Brixton Academy. Armed with my press pass and after show party pass, I had a brilliant time and was lucky enough to meet the band afterwards in the dressing rooms.

Apprenticeships can help businesses across all sectors by offering a route to harness fresh new talent. UK businesses consider skills shortages and recruitment difficulties a bigger threat to performance than soaring oil prices and declining consumer spending, and more than a quarter of these rate this form of vocational training higher than any other qualification.

The 2012 Suffolk Business Exhibition – a joint venture between Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA), Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and Menta – attracted a bumper crowd for a lively day of debate, training, meeting up and doing business.

We’re told by many exhibitors and visitors that this year’s Suffolk Business Exhibition was their “best ever”. That’s good to hear of course! But equally, we do need feedback that reflects a wide spectrum of views. It’s only by finding out what worked well for you – and what you might like to see changed or improved for SBE13 that we can make sure that the event is truly meeting everyone’s needs. Can we ask you to take a few minutes to fill in the form below and send it back to us by the middle of May, in order that we can take onboard your thoughts and review what might need to be changed. Thank you. (please click on 'Read More' to view the form)
