Apprenticeships can help businesses across all sectors by offering a route to harness fresh new talent. UK businesses consider skills shortages and recruitment difficulties a bigger threat to performance than soaring oil prices and declining consumer spending, and more than a quarter of these rate this form of vocational training higher than any other qualification.

ISSBA's annual AGM will take place on Wednesday 20th June at Ipswich Sports Club.

The 2012 Suffolk Business Exhibition – a joint venture between Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA), Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and Menta – attracted a bumper crowd for a lively day of debate, training, meeting up and doing business.

We’re told by many exhibitors and visitors that this year’s Suffolk Business Exhibition was their “best ever”. That’s good to hear of course! But equally, we do need feedback that reflects a wide spectrum of views. It’s only by finding out what worked well for you – and what you might like to see changed or improved for SBE13 that we can make sure that the event is truly meeting everyone’s needs. Can we ask you to take a few minutes to fill in the form below and send it back to us by the middle of May, in order that we can take onboard your thoughts and review what might need to be changed. Thank you. (please click on 'Read More' to view the form)
