VEE Visitor Economy Conference

The VEE Visitor Economy Conference is taking place on the Wednesday 2nd November from 8.45am at The Hold, Ipswich. The conference is aimed at business leaders and professionals working in hospitality and tourism with a focus on sustainability, skills, training and well-being. The day starts with networking at 8.45am with speaker proceedings starting from 9.30am. In the morning there will be a choice of workshops to attend and covering subjects such as,

  • Well-being in the business environment, with the Tree Academy
  • VENI funding and other support for skills, training and marketing for the Visitor Economy
  • Energy advice, including working more efficiently and reducing costs
  • Increasing the visitor experience from Unmissable England
  • Sustainability in the workplace
  • Creating a training school in-house, how the Hotel Folk have taken the matter into their own hands  

(Delegates who have confirmed attendance will be offered a choice of workshops to book onto, during the morning sessions).     

Following lunch, those attending will also hear from Visit England, UK Inward Bound, the Chair of VEE and others. VEE will also be launching their Natural brand campaign.

This is the first VEE Conference and an opportunity to network with 200 like-minded individuals between speaker sessions. It is free to attend and it makes sense to send representative interested in the subjects being discussed (max 2 per organisation). If all this doesn’t excite you, delegates will also go away with a legendary ‘Local Flavours’ goodie bag.
