Booking is now open for one of our most popular annual events - AngliaHintlesham Hall Business Spotlight, this year held in the stunning surroundings of Hintlesham Hall. We are delighted to welcome back award winning broadcaster (BBC Radio Suffolk), Rachel Sloane, to this year’s Anglia Business Spotlight event on Wednesday 25th October.

Have you ever wondered why your business peers started their business and what their biggest successes, challenges and failures were? Join us to find out as Rachel interviews eight lucky ISSBA members about their business.

It’s your chance to learn from people who are like you. Hear them talk about their own business, what gives them the greatest sense of pride and the biggest headaches. You’ll even get chance to ask them questions. Initially each business will be put under the spotlight and interviewed by Rachel. At the end there will be an open forum and you will get the chance to ask your question.

The lucky panel members are:

  • Glenn Hoddy, I Roll Up My Sleeves (local social enterprise specialising in ethical business networking)
  • Geoff Rich, ICO Systems (Ipswich based IT services provider, offering IT support to businesses throughout East Anglia)
  • Ian Fitch, Larking Gowen (one of the UK’s top 40 accountancy firms that has been helping businesses across East Anglia for more than a century)
  • Charlotte Bate, MAD-HR Ltd (HR consultancy that specialises in commercial HR throughout East Anglia)
  • Nick Pandolfi, MENTA (supporting businesses across the county with training, advice, information seminars and networking events)
  • Sally Butcher, Realise Futures CIC (providing products and services that create opportunities for people to succeed in work, learning and life)
  • Simon Wakefield, Syms Pantry (blending fantastic ingredients with outstanding Suffolk bacon to deliver something truly special)

Hintlesham Hall logoThank you to Hintlesham Hall for sponsoring this year's event. Most people are familiar with Hintlesham Hall Hotel; the elegant pastel pink Georgian facade of the hotel has been a familiar Suffolk landmark for generations. The beautiful grade one listed building is best known for its luxury accommodation, restaurant, and as a place for a special occasion, but the hotel is keen to remind the corporate and business world about it's extensive conference facilities.

There are seven conference rooms of varying sizes that can accommodate meetings, workshops and seminars, each offering excellent facilities for a small meeting or a large conference for up to 90 delegates. The hotel also offers exclusive use of the hotel’s 32 bedrooms, dining facilities, lounges and grounds.

The hotel is equipped with superfast broadband and there are 30 acres of grounds in which to stage teambuilding exercises. There are comfortable lounge areas for breakout sessions or you can use the garden terrace areas or the abundant grounds, ideal for networking events as well as product and car launches.

The hotels’ newest conference room, The Grande Fleur is a purpose built first floor private room ideal for the smaller conference, board meeting or for private dining functions. Accessed by its own private outside door the room is completely away from the hustle and bustle of the main hotel allowing you complete privacy. Breakout rooms are available to hire to complement your event if required.

For private dining, the hotel also offer a number of private rooms, from The Justice Room for smaller more intimate dinners for up to 16 guests or The Parlour, with doors leading to the Terrace and Gardens for up to 45 guests, The Grand Salon can seat up to 90 guests. With all of these rooms they are also able to offer exclusive reception areas whether in the Library or Garden Room, where guests can gather for a drinks’ reception and canapés.
